Can the Kindle show/read anime and/or manga?

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a good novel (Cujo and Time Traveler’s Wife both rock), but I also like my manga, and I really like the idea of the Kindle (holds at least 1,500 books)
But, is it able to even read the graphics from manga? I’m only talking about the Kindle, NOT the Sony Reader!
If you know please help me out. Thanks in advance! ^^

Yes, there are actually some manga in the Kindle store already, just prepare to read it black and white (because Kindle is greyscale, but image on the screen is sharp):

I love my Kindle 2 very much. May I suggest you to read this review from a top reviewer who is also a book lover, it outlines quite a lot of benefits of the Kindle and also why it is worth especially at the end of the review:

There are some websites like these two, where you can find more than ten thousand free books in the public domain for the Kindle. So no need to go to library to borrow them, you can actually own them:

And you know, Amazon gave a price drop for the Kindle 2 just before Xmas. It is now at a really good price.
