Title: Can I read eBooks from Barnes and Noble's site on my Sony Reader?
As someone that works at one currently, no, eBooks are only available to download for Nook.
The reason being is the eBookstore opens by default on Nook and Barnes and Noble is only catering to those nice enough to purchase their gadget. 
With no discredit or offense toward the company, I’m more than positive you’d be better off sticking with whatever’s available on the Sony Reader anyhow; Anything Nook related, especially the eBooks themselves can really run up your wallet…
