» a few kindle questions…? Kindle 2: KINDLE GADGET

i’m debating on getting a kindle. i like the idea of having so many books with me at one time!
but i do have a few questions about it before i get one.
1-do they sell kindle covers or cases?
2-can you put EBook on a kindle? like the ones you buy from ebay or get with your college text books.
3-also can you add adobe reader things to your kindle?
4-is amazon the only place to buy kindle books?

2. Yes. You can put files in formats like PDF, DOC, MOBI, PRC, TXT, HTML, etc. to the Kindle.

3. Yes, PDF is the file format of Adobe Reader. Kindle DX can read PDF format natively, while Kindle 2 can read PDF files through conversion. See here about PDF conversion of the Kindle 2:

I love my Kindle 2 very much. If you are thinking of buying a Kindle, I’ll say get it and you won’t regret. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has saved me quite a lot of money. Right now I’ve read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don’t feel tired. My only complaint is the white case, right now all the Kindles are in white color… I think it will be cool if I can have a black or deep blue color Kindle
