I want to get either the kindle or the e-reader, but I don’t know which one to get. What are the pros/cons and the differences between the two?

I want to try different ebook readers before I buy. Where can I do it in Sydney(Australia)?

I have read a lot of reviews, but I think I will be more comfortable purchasing a reader that I have tested out. Thanks for the answers so far, but I really wanted to try before I buy. None of my friends are heavy reader so I don’t know anyone who owns an ebook reader.
